How it works

Why nothing is uploaded

Every operation on this page is done by code running inside your browser tab, using the same engine that renders web pages. The file is read from disk into your tab’s memory, transformed there, and written back out as a download. It is never sent anywhere — not to us, not to a third party.

  2. Load your file and run the tool.
  3. The only requests you will see fetch the tool’s own code — and, for a few heavy tools, their open-source engine from a public CDN — plus one small page-view ping to loreatec.jp (page address and title, nothing more). None of them carry your file.

Frequently asked questions

How reliable is the number?

Exactly as reliable as your inputs — which is why the result is a range (±30 %) and every assumption sits on the page. Use it to compare scenarios and to see what dominates; do not present it as a measurement. Time-tracking data, if you have it, beats estimates.

What is the overhead factor?

The real cost of an hour is more than the wage: benefits, workspace, tools, management. Multiplying the wage by 1.3 is a common rough rule; use your finance team’s figure if you have one.

Why is “slow systems” usually the biggest line?

Because it happens every day to everyone. Ten minutes a day is over 38 hours a year per person; a dramatic outage once a month rarely comes close. That is also why replacing the oldest machines often pays back faster than anything else.

Where does my data go?

Nowhere. The calculation runs in the page; the “copy summary” button only writes to your clipboard.
